Course description:
Pediatric Dentistry: A course which
includes esthetic dentistry for primary
teeth; traumatic injures of primary
and permanent teeth and behavior
modification for pediatric patients.
A laser dentistry course is now available.
Dentistry For The Special Patient:
Reviews – for dentists, hygienists and
assistants – how the practice can be
modified to appropriately serve the
special patient.
Interceptive & Minor Orthodontics:
Teaches proper eruption sequence,
ectopic eruption, missing and extra teeth,
space maintenance and space regaining.
Crossbite correction and minor tooth
movement will also be taught. A course
manual is included.
Professional background:
Dr. Margolis has served as an assistant
professor at Loyola University, where he
teaches in the General Practice Residency
Program. He is guest lecturer at the
University of Illinois College of Dentistry,
Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
He received his DDS from Ohio State
University and his pediatric dental
certificate from the University of Illinois
College of Dentistry. He has written
numerous articles for professional
and lay publications. Dr. Margolis is
an ADA Seminar Series lecturer.
