Professional background:
Mark W. Lingen, DDS, PhD, is an associate
professor of Pathology, Medicine and
Radiation and Cellular Oncology at the
University of Chicago. He is a consultant
to the Council on Scientific Affairs for
the ADA and a member of the Triple “O”
Journal editorial board. Dr. Lingen is a
diplomate of the American Board of Oral
& Maxillofacial Pathology and his National
Institutes of Health funded research on
oral cancer has resulted in more than
80 published articles.
