Biomechanical course focused on minimal
tooth preparation.
Topics included:
• Biologic and aesthetic rationale
• Adhesively retained versus cohesively
retained restorations
• Preservation of tooth structure
• Structural compromise created
during preparation.
Facially Generated Aesthetics:
Aesthetic principles used in evaluation
and modification for optimum outcome
of individual patients.
Professional background:
Dr. Laizure graduated from the University
of Oregon Dental School and practices in
Walla Walla, WA. He mentors for Dr. John
Kois’ Creating Restorative Excellence and is
a facilitator for Dental Boot Kamp. He has
served on the Washington State Board,
and was president of the Washington AGD.
Dr. Laizure is the executive director of
the Conservatory for Applied Restorative
Excellence, a hands-on dental CE program.
All techniques are first tested and refined
in his personal practice.
