Course description:
Three courses, each focused on dental
esthetics and treatment planning, are
offered in a one-day format:
Recipes For Predictable Anterior
Esthetics: A course directed to general
audiences, focused on maximizing
predictability in esthetic treatment
planning, practical applications of smile
design, all-ceramic crown techniques and
porcelain veneer techniques including
shade matching and communicating
with the dental laboratory.
Recipes For Successful Esthetics-Study
Club Format I & II: Small-group courses,
designed as a treatment planning session
with slides, case presentations and group
discussion. Emphasis on esthetic analysis
and interdisciplinary treatment from
the periodontal, implant surgery and
orthodontic standpoint.
Professional background:
Dr. Chiche is the Helmer Professor and
Chairman of Prosthodontics at Louisiana
State University where he maintains an
intramural restorative practice. He has
given over 500 programs nationally and
internationally and is currently president-
elect of the American Academy of Esthetic
Dentistry. With Alain Pinault, he authored
the textbook, Esthetics of Anterior Fixed
Restorations, published by Quintessence.
He received the Seattle Study Club
Educational Community Award for
Best Dental Educator of the Year.
